How to take
Adult dose
For individuals aged 12 years and older, take 1 tablet once daily.
Precautions
This drug should be used with caution as administering more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A daily to women within the first 3 months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant carries a risk of causing congenital anomalies. Children, especially those under 6 years old, are at serious risk of poisoning from excessive intake of iron included in this medication, so it should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children. Individuals with certain diseases such as hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, kidney disease, hyperkalemia, Wilson's disease, hemochromatosis, severe renal failure, etc., should avoid taking this medication. Those allergic to any ingredients in this product or infants under 12 months should avoid using it. Interactions may occur if taken with phosphates, calcium salts, certain antibiotics, or antacids; thus, it should not be taken together with them. Before taking this medication, individuals should consult a doctor or pharmacist regarding any ongoing treatments or medications. It is important for pregnant women, nursing mothers, premature infants, babies, and patients with peptic ulcers or heart, liver, or kidney diseases to consult a specialist before use. If symptoms such as vomiting, skin rash, hives, cardiac irregularities, abdominal pain, fever, or unconsciousness appear during the use of this medication, it should be stopped immediately, and a specialist should be consulted. Additionally, women taking oral contraceptives containing vitamin E should be cautious as the risk of thrombosis may increase. Dosage instructions must be strictly followed, and since vitamin A can be sufficiently obtained from diet, the supplementary dosage should not exceed recommended limits. This drug may affect blood glucose and urine tests, so it is advisable to inform the health professional before conducting tests. During use, it is best to avoid beverages containing tannins such as green tea or black tea. When storing, keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and ensure it is sealed to prevent children from accessing it. Do not transfer it to another container.
