This medication is used for gastrointestinal symptoms such as stomach pain, heartburn, indigestion, and nausea.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 2 tablets at a time, but if symptoms are not alleviated after more than 5 hours, take another 2 tablets. However, do not exceed 2 times a day (4 tablets).

Precautions

This medication should not be administered to patients with blood disorders or diseases of the kidneys, liver, stomach, or duodenum. Patients with immune system diseases or those taking steroids, antibiotics, or chemotherapy agents should use caution. If there is a history of blood abnormalities such as anemia, thrombocytopenia, or leukopenia, it is advisable not to use this medication. People who are allergic to histamine H2-receptor antagonists should not take this medication. Children under 15 years old and elderly individuals over 80 years old should be cautious in using this medication as its safety has not been established. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, and breastfeeding women must consult a physician before taking this medication. If breastfeeding, it is advisable to discontinue breastfeeding. Patients undergoing dialysis should not take this medication. This medication contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders should not take it. Patients taking other medications or those with a history of hypersensitivity, and elderly individuals over 65 should use this medication cautiously. If experiencing sore throat, cough, or high fever, consult a physician before taking this medication due to the risk of infection. Patients with unexplained weight loss or persistent abdominal pain need to be cautious to rule out other conditions. This medication contains Yellow No. 4, so caution should be exercised by those who are allergic to it. If allergic reactions, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, headaches, dizziness, muscle pain, etc., occur while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. If severe allergic reactions or symptoms of blood abnormalities, jaundice, etc., occur, seek medical attention immediately. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for more than three days, it may indicate another condition, so stop use and consult a physician. Do not take for more than two weeks, and do not exceed the prescribed dosage. Alcoholic beverages should not be taken with this medication, and using it in combination with other gastrointestinal medications may lead to side effects, so caution is needed. The effectiveness of this medication may decrease when taken together with tetracycline antibiotics or certain antimicrobial agents.
