This medicine is used to treat inflammatory skin diseases such as boils and abscesses.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply an appropriate amount of the patch to the affected area once daily, adjusting the size based on the lesion's (disease site) size. Before suppuration, increase the patch size to twice that of the affected area and change it daily. After suppuration, take a balgeun go the size of a mung bean and place it in the center of the affected area, and then apply a patch increased in size to twice that of the affected area, changing it daily.

Precautions

This medicine is not safe for children or infants. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should also avoid using this medicine. Individuals who have had allergic reactions to this medicine or its components should refrain from using it. It may be dangerous to apply this medicine to the eyes or around the eyes, so it should not be used in these areas. If symptoms do not improve after using this medicine for about a week, it is advisable to stop using it and consult a pharmacist or doctor. Prolonged or excessive use of this medicine may pose a risk of lead poisoning, so it should not be used for long periods in large amounts. If any unusual symptoms such as allergic reactions occur during use, use should be stopped immediately.
