This medication is used to improve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux such as acid reflux, heartburn, and dyspepsia due to the reflux of stomach contents. It is particularly effective after meals, during pregnancy, and in cases associated with reflux esophagitis. It helps alleviate these symptoms and supports patients in their daily lives.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 10 to 20 mL four times a day (after meals and before bedtime).

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to this drug or any of its ingredients. Patients with impaired cardiac function or kidney issues should consult their physician or pharmacist before taking this drug due to the sodium content. Patients with high calcium levels in the blood or calcium deposits in the kidneys should also consult a healthcare professional before taking this drug due to the calcium carbonate content. Children under 12 years old should generally not take this medicine without specific medical direction. If you experience itching, difficulty breathing, or severe allergic reactions after taking this medication, stop use immediately and consult medical personnel. Additionally, symptoms such as diarrhea or constipation may occasionally occur, so caution is advised. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medicine for a week, be sure to consult a physician. In case of overdose, seek urgent medical attention, as some patients may experience abdominal bloating. This medication contains calcium carbonate which acts as an antacid, so it should be taken at least 2 hours apart from other medications.
