This medication is used to treat organic brain dysfunction disorders, including dementia-related symptoms such as tinnitus, headache, memory decline, concentration difficulties, depression, and dizziness.

How to take

Adult dose

Organic brain dysfunction disorders: Administer 120 mg (1 capsule) of Ginkgo Leaf Dry Extract orally twice daily. Adjust as necessary based on age and symptoms.

Precautions

This drug should not be taken by individuals who have allergic reactions to it. Children under 12 years old should preferably not use this medication due to insufficient experience. Although animal studies have not shown teratogenic effects, pregnant women should exercise caution due to insufficient experience with use during pregnancy. Those with allergies to soybean oil or soy, and peanuts should not take this medication. Individuals with bleeding disorders or those taking blood thinners should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. Lactating women are advised to consult a healthcare professional since it is not known how much of this medication is transmitted through breast milk. Patients with lipid metabolism issues such as hyperlipoproteinemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, or pancreatitis should use this medication with caution. While taking this medication, mild gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, and skin allergic reactions may occur, so caution is advised. Dizziness or itching may occur infrequently, and serious allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis have also been reported. Patients at risk of fat overload should regularly check their blood lipid levels to adjust the dosage of this medication. If simultaneously using other lipid medications, adjust the dosage considering the fat content included in this medication. This drug is not a hypertension treatment, so patients with hypertension require separate treatment. Store in a safe place out of reach of children, and keep tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
