Precautions

This medication should not be administered to patients with bleeding. The risk of bleeding may increase in cases of hemophilia, capillary fragility, gastrointestinal ulcers, urinary bleeding, hemoptysis, and spontaneous bleeding. It is advisable not to use this medication in pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, as negative effects on the fetus have been reported in animal studies. This medication contains lactose; therefore, individuals with genetic conditions such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Caution should be exercised in administering this medication to menstruating women, patients with a tendency to bleed, and patients taking anticoagulants or platelet aggregation inhibitors, as the risk of bleeding may be increased. Care should also be taken when administering to patients with severely impaired kidney function or elderly patients, as especially elderly individuals may experience increased drug concentration due to reduced kidney and liver function, making it safer to start at a lower dose. During the course of taking this medication, patients should closely monitor for symptoms of bleeding, and if bleeding is suspected, administration should be stopped immediately, and appropriate treatment should be sought. Regular blood tests are recommended to check liver function or blood status, as abnormalities such as hepatitis, jaundice, and blood disorders may occur. Hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rashes and itching may occur, so if these symptoms arise, medication should be discontinued. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as vomiting, stomatitis, heartburn, and abdominal pain may occur, so patients should be vigilant for these symptoms. The risk of bleeding increases when this medication is taken in conjunction with anticoagulants or platelet aggregation inhibitors; therefore, caution is necessary when co-administering. It is preferable that breastfeeding women do not take this medication, but if it is absolutely necessary, they should avoid breastfeeding. Safety has not been established in children, and there is no prior experience with its use in this population, so it is advisable not to administer it to them. Finally, this medication should be kept out of reach of children, and care should be taken not to transfer it to another container, as this may pose a risk of accidents or degradation of quality.
