Renal dysfunction, elevated liver enzymes, rash, itching, tremors, chest pain, and fatigue may also occur rarely. This medication enhances the action of acetylcholine; therefore, if gastrointestinal symptoms do not improve, it is advisable to avoid prolonged use.
