Treatment of male and female pattern hair loss
This medication is used for the treatment of male pattern hair loss and female pattern hair loss, specifically androgenetic alopecia. In particular, it effectively improves hair loss symptoms with formulations of 2%, 3%, and 5% concentrations. It helps restore scalp health and promote hair growth for those concerned about hair loss. With consistent use, it contributes to slowing the progression of hair loss and improving hair density, helping to regain confidence. This medication is used safely and effectively for hair loss treatment.
(Gel) After completely drying hair and scalp, apply 0.5 to 1 g of this medication twice daily (morning and evening) to the affected area for at least 4 months. Total daily dosage must not exceed 2 g. (Solution) 2%, 5% After completely drying hair and scalp, apply 0.5 to 1 mL of this medication twice daily (morning and evening) to the affected area for at least 4 months. Total daily dosage must not exceed 2 mL.
(Solution) 3% for women After completely drying hair and scalp, apply 0.5 mL of this medication twice daily (morning and evening) to the affected area for at least 4 months. Total daily dosage must not exceed 1.3 mL
This medication should not be used by certain individuals. For example, women should avoid the 5% formulation, and it is advisable not to use it for children under the age of 18. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not use this medication in 2% or 3% concentrations. Individuals who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its components should also avoid its use. Patients with heart or vascular issues, such as coronary artery disease or arrhythmias, may find it risky to use this medication. It is also advisable not to use this medication if there is sudden partial hair loss not due to genetic factors, scalp inflammation or infection, or irritation. Those already using other topical scalp medications or having shaved their scalp should avoid using this medication. It is safer for individuals who do not have good tolerance to the 2% concentration to avoid the 5% concentration as well. If hair loss is related to childbirth, it is advisable to avoid using the 2% or 3% concentration; individuals with a history of myocardial infarction should also refrain from using this medication. While using this medication, it should not be used with topical corticosteroids, retinoids, petroleum jelly, or dithranol, and caution should be exercised if taking medications that contain vasodilators due to a possible worsening of orthostatic hypotension. Individuals over 55 years old or patients with edema or thyroid dysfunction should consult with a physician or pharmacist before using this medication. If symptoms such as itching, rash, inflammation, or worsening hair loss occur while using this medication, immediate discontinuation and consultation with an expert are necessary. If gastrointestinal issues, heart-related anomalies, breathing difficulties, or neurological symptoms are present, immediate notification to an expert is necessary. This medication may affect cardiovascular health if used excessively, so it should not be used beyond the recommended dose, and immediate consultation with an expert is warranted if adverse reactions occur. During use, avoid applying it to areas other than the scalp, and do not use occlusive dressings, and take care to avoid eye contact. After use, hands must be washed thoroughly, and hair styling products should be used only after this medication is completely dry. This medication is flammable, so it should be stored away from flames or heat sources and kept in a safe place out of reach of children. Additionally, it should be stored in its original container to maintain quality.

This medication should not be used with other topical scalp treatments, topical corticosteroids, retinoids, petroleum jelly, dithranol, or drugs that facilitate percutaneous absorption. Additionally, it should not be used in conjunction with guanethidine, which is a vasodilator.
This medication is sensitive to light, so it should be stored in a sealed container that blocks light. It is also important to store it at room temperature between 15 to 25 degrees Celsius to maintain its effectiveness.
