This medication contains flurbiprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and it is very important not to use it in certain patients. First, it must not be given to patients who have had an allergic reaction to this drug or other flurbiprofen formulations. Additionally, this medication may be dangerous for patients who have experienced asthma attacks triggered by NSAIDs, known as aspirin-induced asthma, or have a history of such episodes. In patients with bronchial asthma, this medication should be used with caution as it may provoke asthma attacks. When using this medication, side effects such as reddening of the skin, rash, itching, burning sensation, or contact dermatitis may occur, and if such symptoms appear, use should be discontinued immediately. Moreover, if early symptoms of asthma attacks such as dry wheezing, wheezing, or shortness of breath occur, the use of this medication should be stopped immediately. This drug is a symptomatic relief that assists in alleviating symptoms and is not a curative treatment; thus, when used on inflamed areas accompanied by skin infections, it should be combined with appropriate antimicrobial or antifungal agents, and the condition should be closely monitored. When using it for chronic conditions like degenerative arthritis, it is also advisable to consider other treatment methods alongside medication and to closely monitor the patient's condition and the likelihood of side effects. For pregnant women, it is recommended not to use this drug especially during the first and second trimesters unless absolutely necessary, and if it must be used, the minimum dosage and shortest treatment duration should be maintained. During the last trimester of pregnancy, this medication should not be used as it can be toxic to the fetal lungs and kidneys and may prolong bleeding during delivery or delay labor. Safety in pediatric patients has not been sufficiently established, and caution should be exercised due to limited experience. In elderly patients, extra caution should be taken regarding skin injuries, and it should be administered carefully. When using this medication, it should not be applied to wounds or mucous areas, nor on areas with eczema or rashes. Lastly, it is advisable to clean the sweat from the application site before applying the medication.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
