Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol per day, as it may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding; consult a doctor or pharmacist. This drug can affect the cardiovascular system and may increase the risk of serious thrombotic events such as myocardial infarction or stroke. Patients with a history of cardiovascular disease or risk factors should exercise more caution, and if symptoms such as chest pain or shortness of breath occur, they should stop taking the drug immediately. Serious gastrointestinal side effects such as bleeding, ulcers, and perforation may occur, so special caution is necessary, particularly for older adults or those with a history of gastrointestinal disease. Serious skin reactions may occur; therefore, if symptoms such as skin rashes or mucosal injuries develop, the use of the drug should be stopped immediately. This medication may affect kidney function, so patients with kidney disease or those taking diuretics or ACE inhibitors should monitor their renal function closely. This drug may reduce reproductive capacity, so women planning to become pregnant should avoid taking it, and it should not be used by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Patients who are allergic to this drug or have hypersensitivity to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should not take it. It is generally safe not to use this drug for patients with certain conditions such as asthma, gastrointestinal bleeding, heart failure, severe hypertension, or severe liver or kidney disease. Older adults should take the medication carefully at the minimum dosage, as they have weakened bodily functions and a greater risk of side effects. There are many interactions with other medications, so if taking anticoagulants, lithium, methotrexate, diuretics, or antihypertensive agents, consult a doctor. If drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision occurs during treatment, one should avoid driving or operating machinery. In case of overdose, gastric lavage and supportive therapy are required, as there is no specific antidote, so it is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage. Keep this medication out of reach of children and store in its original container to maintain its safety and effectiveness.
