Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals with serious bowel issues, such as acute abdominal diseases or bowel obstruction. It should also be avoided in cases of severe abdominal pain or vomiting, spasmodic constipation, or injuries in the anal area. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should only use this medication after consulting a physician. Children and the elderly require special caution and should follow the instructions of a healthcare professional. If bleeding occurs after using this medication, or if there is no bowel movement, usage should be stopped immediately and consultation with a professional is required. Prolonged continuous usage may lead to drug tolerance and worsen constipation, thus caution is necessary. Excessive use may cause electrolyte imbalances and potassium deficiency. Irritation or pain in the anal area may occur during use, especially in cases of existing injuries. This medication typically takes effect within 10 to 30 minutes, and should be inserted into the anus with the pointed end after removing the packaging. Patients at risk of dehydration must consult a physician before using this medication. This medication does not aid in weight loss and may cause blood in stools, dizziness, or fainting after use, so caution is necessary. When experiencing abdominal cramps, driving or operating dangerous machinery should be avoided. Usage before and after surgery or when bowel evacuation is needed should be done under medical supervision. Overdose of this medication can lead to increased diarrhea and abdominal cramps, and may cause electrolyte imbalances, thus immediate medical assistance is required. Caution should be exercised when using this medication in conjunction with other laxatives as gastrointestinal side effects may increase.
