This medication improves symptoms caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia and reduces the enlarged prostate to facilitate urinary flow. It also decreases the frequency of acute urinary retention, thereby alleviating urinary issues. It reduces the necessity for surgeries such as transurethral resection of the prostate or prostatectomy, relieving the burden on patients. It effectively improves various prostate-related problems.

How to take

Adult dose

Administer 5 mg of finasteride orally once daily, regardless of meals. Even if symptoms improve, at least 6 months of treatment is necessary.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by children or women. In particular, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid even touching broken pieces of this medication.
