How to take

Adult dose

Take 100µg of selenium (2mL) once daily, and the dosage can be increased up to 200µg of selenium (4mL) per day. The oral solution should be held in the mouth for about 30 seconds to 1 minute before swallowing slowly.

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by anyone allergic to this medicine or its ingredients. Infants under 12 months old should also not take this medicine. People with selenium toxicity should not take this medicine. During treatment with this medicine, it should not be taken with reducing agents like vitamin C. If vitamin C is to be taken, it is safe to take it about 4 hours apart from this medicine. Individuals with heart or circulatory problems, impaired kidney function, or low protein levels should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should also consult a professional before taking this medicine. Additionally, this medicine can be transmitted to the baby through breast milk, so nursing women should consult before taking. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medicine for about a month, discontinue use and consult a doctor. If symptoms such as dermatitis, foul odor during sweat or breathing, hair loss, anxiety, vomiting occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Discontinue use and consult if there is any allergic reaction. In case of overdose, symptoms may include a garlic-like odor from the mouth, fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Chronic overdose can affect nail and hair growth and cause neurological disorders. In case of overdose, gastric lavage, inducing urination, and high-dose vitamin C may be needed. In severe cases, dialysis may be required to remove the components of this medicine. During this process, certain antidotes may increase toxicity, so they should not be used. This medicine should be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosage and administration, and it should only be used orally, not by injection. It should be stored in a secure place out of reach of children, and it should be kept away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place. Medications should be stored in their original container and sealed, and transferring them to other containers may reduce quality or cause accidents.
