Pain relief for rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis)
This medication is used for joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis), and pericapsulitis of the scapulohumeral joint. It is also effective for pain relief from toothache, inflammation caused by trauma, low back pain, sciatica, and helps relieve pain caused by non-articular rheumatism. It is used to improve inflammation and various pain symptoms.
As aceclofenac, take 100 mg twice daily every 12 hours. Do not chew or crush, take it as is. Adjust dosage as appropriate based on symptoms. Administer at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.
This medication can cause gastric bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol a day, so it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. It can affect the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular systems, so those with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors should carefully consider usage and should take the lowest dose for the shortest period possible. This medication carries a risk of serious gastrointestinal problems such as bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, and individuals with a history of gastrointestinal diseases or the elderly should be particularly cautious. Do not take this medication if you have active peptic ulcers or bleeding, a history of such conditions, or allergies to this medication or similar drugs. Those with compromised kidney or liver function, patients with heart failure, pregnant women in late pregnancy, nursing mothers, and individuals with blood coagulation disorders must consult a doctor before use. If symptoms such as dizziness, skin rash, dyspepsia, abnormal liver function, or difficulty breathing occur during use, inform medical personnel immediately. This medication can interact with other drugs, so consult a doctor if you are taking digoxin, anticoagulants, diuretics, or antihypertensive medications. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant should avoid this medication, especially during late pregnancy. Safety and efficacy for children and adolescents have not been established, so use is not recommended.
