Treatment of male and female pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia)
This medication is used for the treatment of male pattern hair loss and female pattern hair loss, also known as androgenetic alopecia. Available in concentrations of 2%, 3%, and 5%, it helps improve hair loss symptoms when used appropriately according to these concentrations. It helps slow the progression of hair loss and promotes hair growth, thereby maintaining healthy hair condition. Therefore, it is effective in improving symptoms of male and female pattern hair loss.
(Gel) After thoroughly drying the hair and scalp, apply 0.5 to 1 g of this medication twice a day (morning and evening) to the affected area for at least 4 months. The total daily dose should not exceed 2 g. This medication should not be used by individuals with certain conditions. For example, women using the 5% concentration should not use this medication if they are under 18 years old, pregnant or possibly pregnant, nursing, or have had an allergic reaction to this medication or any of its components. Additionally, those with heart disease or blood pressure issues, individuals with no genetic predisposition to hair loss, those experiencing sudden localized hair loss, and individuals with inflammation, infection, or irritation of the scalp should avoid using this product. It is also advised not to use this product if you are using other scalp medications or if the scalp has been shaved. During the use of this medication, it should not be combined with drugs such as topical corticosteroids, retinoids, petrolatum, or dithranol, and caution should be taken as it may worsen orthostatic hypotension in those taking vasodilators. Elderly individuals over 55 years old, those with swelling, or individuals with thyroid function issues should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this product. If any unusual symptoms such as itching, rash, redness, dermatitis, worsening of hair loss, etc., appear while using this medication, stop using it immediately and consult a specialist. Also, systemic side effects such as indigestion, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, difficulty breathing, dizziness, hepatitis symptoms, swelling, or allergic reactions may occur, and immediate medical attention should be sought if they do. Excess absorption of this medication may affect the cardiovascular system, so it is essential to consult a specialist before use, especially when there are wounds or severe inflammation on the scalp. If you miss a dosage, skip it and use the next dosage normally. This medication is ineffective for certain causes of hair loss, and serious side effects may occur if used excessively, so recommended dosages must be followed. Additionally, it should not be used on areas other than the scalp, and it is advisable not to cover it with occlusive dressings. After use, wash your hands thoroughly and avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membranes; if it gets in your eyes, rinse immediately with clean water. Hair styling products should be used after this medication has completely dried, and using a hair dryer for drying the scalp is not recommended. Lastly, this medication is flammable, so keep it away from flames or heat, and store it out of reach of children. Medications should be stored in their original containers and not transferred to other containers.

Do not use this medication in conjunction with other scalp medications, topical corticosteroids, retinoids, petrolatum, dithranol, or medications known to promote transdermal absorption, and vasodilators such as guanethidine.
This product is sensitive to light and should be stored in a container that does not allow light to enter. Additionally, it should be stored at room temperature, maintaining a temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius is important. Proper storage will help maintain the drug's effectiveness and safety.
