This medication contains fluoribuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, and should not be used in certain patients. First, it should not be administered to patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication or other fluoribuprofen preparations. Also, patients who have experienced asthma attacks triggered by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as aspirin-induced asthma, should not use this medication. Patients with bronchial asthma should use this medication with caution due to the risk of asthma attacks. This medication contains propylene glycol, so individuals with allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient should be careful. While using this medication, side effects such as skin redness, rash, itching, burning sensation, and contact dermatitis may occur, and if these symptoms appear, usage should be immediately discontinued. Moreover, since it may trigger asthma attacks, if early symptoms such as shortness of breath, wheezing, or dry rales appear, usage should be immediately discontinued. This medication is a symptomatic relief therapy and is not a treatment for the underlying cause. When applying to inflamed areas associated with skin infections, it can worsen the infection, so it should be used with antibiotics or antifungals while closely monitoring the condition. When using for chronic conditions such as degenerative arthritis, consider other treatment methods in addition to drug therapy, and thoroughly check for side effects. During early and mid-pregnancy, it should only be administered when absolutely necessary and for the shortest duration at the lowest effective dose. In late pregnancy, it should not be used as it can harm the fetus's cardiopulmonary and renal systems and increase the risk of bleeding. Safety in children has not been sufficiently established, so caution is needed when using. Elderly individuals may have sensitive skin, so it is essential to monitor the application site closely and use it cautiously. Lastly, it should not be used on damaged skin or mucous membranes, or areas with eczema or rash, and the sweat on the application site should be thoroughly cleaned before use.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication may be sensitive to air and moisture, so it should be stored in a tightly sealed container. Also, avoid storing it in places that are too hot or too cold, and it is recommended to keep it at room temperature, between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius.
