How to take

Adult dose

As Eperisone Hydrochloride, the recommended dose is 50 mg orally three times a day after meals. Adjust according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. For example, individuals allergic to this drug or patients with severe myasthenia gravis should not take this medication. Additionally, this drug contains lactose, so individuals with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should avoid it. Patients who require caution while using this medication include those with a history of drug allergy or those with compromised liver function, as they should use it cautiously. Furthermore, this drug contains specific colorants; therefore, it should be taken with caution if there is an allergy or hypersensitivity to these colorants. Rarely, serious side effects may occur during medication. For example, shock reactions may occur, so if symptoms appear, treatment should be stopped immediately, and medical attention should be sought. There may also be abnormalities in liver or kidney function, so symptoms should be observed closely. Additionally, symptoms like skin rash, itching, mental symptoms, gastrointestinal issues, or urinary problems may occur, and any unusual symptoms should be discussed with a doctor.
