Precautions

This product may allow glass fragments to enter when using glass ampules, so extreme caution is required when cutting the injection container. Extra care should be taken when administering it to children and the elderly. This medication contains components extracted from human placenta, thus while tests for infections are conducted during the collection of the placenta and infection risk reduction measures are taken in manufacturing, completely eliminating the risk of infection transmission is not possible. Therefore, this medication should only be used restrictively when absolutely necessary. Additionally, the benzyl alcohol present in this medication can cause serious respiratory problems in premature infants; hence, it should not be used in newborns or premature babies. This medication should not be administered to patients who have allergic reactions to this drug or other medications, or those with severe illnesses affecting organs other than the heart, liver, or kidneys, as well as patients with psychogenic disorders. Patients with allergic constitutions should exercise particular caution when using this medication. After receiving this injection, symptoms such as shock, chills, nausea, fever, and skin rashes may appear; if such symptoms occur, the administration should be stopped immediately, and appropriate treatment sought. Pain or redness at the injection site may occur, and breast tenderness or gynecomastia may occasionally develop; should these symptoms arise, administration should be halted. It is essential to thoroughly explain and ensure understanding of the infection risk to the patient while using this medication. When administering a subcutaneous injection, the injection site should be carefully chosen to avoid nerve damage, and the site should be changed for repeated injections. If there is severe pain during injection or blood reflux occurs, the needle should be removed immediately and injected at another site. This medication must only be administered via subcutaneous injection.
