Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients with viral keratitis or conjunctivitis, fungal eye diseases, mycobacterial infections, or chronic blepharitis. Additionally, individuals who have had allergic reactions to this medication should not be administered it. It is generally not used for patients with corneal epithelial damage or ulcers, tuberculosis or purulent eye diseases, glaucoma, and children under 2 years of age but should be used very cautiously if necessary. Prolonged use of this medication can increase pressure in the eye or cause damage to the optic nerve, making it important to have regular ocular pressure examinations. It can also cause serious eye conditions like herpes keratitis or fungal infections, and immediate appropriate treatment should be sought if such symptoms appear. Long-term use may lead to cataracts and may suppress immune function, increasing the risk of other eye infections. Caution is advised as it may obscure symptoms or worsen them during acute purulent eye infections. If inflammation or pain in the eye persists or worsens for more than 48 hours, discontinue use and consult a physician. If wearing contact lenses, they should be removed prior to administration and can be worn again at least 30 minutes afterwards. Temporary blurriness may occur while using this medication, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery. Additionally, there is a risk of infection from chickenpox or measles, so it is essential to check medical history and vaccination status and seek immediate treatment if an infection is suspected or occurs. This medication may pose a risk of systemic side effects when used with certain other drugs, so it is vital to inform a physician of any other medications being taken. It is advisable for pregnant or breastfeeding women not to use this medication for an extended period, and if necessary, consultation with a specialist and cessation of breastfeeding is recommended. Caution is also required for children and the elderly, as they may have different physiological functions. This medication is an eye drop solution for ocular use only, and care should be taken to avoid contact of the tip of the container with the eye. Shake well before use and avoid sharing it with others to prevent contamination. Store in a tightly sealed container, away from children, in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight, and do not transfer it to another container.
