In addition, due to insufficient clinical experience in children and adolescents, this medication should not be administered to children and adolescents. While taking this medication, gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea may occur infrequently. Allergic reactions such as skin rashes, hives, and itching may occur rarely, so caution is advised. It may lower blood sugar levels, leading to hypoglycemic symptoms such as dizziness, sweating, headaches, and visual disturbances; therefore, it is essential to monitor blood sugar closely. When taken together with insulin or other diabetes medications, the blood sugar-lowering effect may increase, necessitating regular monitoring of blood sugar and dosage adjustments if necessary. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should cautiously evaluate the benefits and risks of this medication and follow a physician’s guidance when taking it. In the case of overdose, serious toxicity may occur, so if suspected, immediate hospital attention should be sought for appropriate treatment. This medication should not be stored at temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius and should be kept in a safe place out of reach of children.
