Precautions

This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it may cause serious harm to the fetus. Patients with severe liver or kidney impairment, those with certain hereditary diseases, and those allergic to this medication or its components should not use it. Caution should be exercised in elderly patients, those with elevated potassium levels, liver impairment, heart valve problems, and those at risk of acute drops in blood pressure, and regular testing is required. While this medication is generally safe, side effects such as dizziness, muscle cramps, back pain, upper respiratory infections, and nasal congestion may occur, and if symptoms persist or worsen, consult your physician. Severe allergic reactions, such as angioedema, have been reported infrequently, so if swelling of the face, lips, or tongue occurs, or if breathing difficulties arise, seek immediate treatment. When taking this medication with other antihypertensives, diuretics, or potassium supplements, potassium levels may dangerously increase; therefore, potassium supplements or salt substitutes should not be taken without consulting a physician. During treatment with this medication, periodic tests for blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolyte levels are necessary to monitor for abnormalities. Be cautious as blood pressure may drop too low, leading to dizziness or loss of consciousness, especially when starting treatment or increasing the dosage; if symptoms occur, notify the healthcare provider immediately. In case of overdose, hypotension and rapid heartbeat may occur, so seek medical attention immediately if such symptoms arise.
