This medication is used for hypertension and myocardial ischemia such as stable angina caused by fixed closure of the coronary artery, and variant angina caused by vasospasm of the coronary blood vessels.

How to take

Adult dose

Administer 5 mg orally once daily as amlodipine. If symptoms do not improve within 2 to 4 weeks, the dose may be increased up to a maximum of 10 mg per day. Adjust dosage appropriately based on symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. For example, those with allergies to this drug or similar drugs, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and breastfeeding individuals should avoid taking this medication. Additionally, patients in a state of cardiac shock or with severe cardiac valve problems, those who have recently had a myocardial infarction, and individuals with severe liver dysfunction or hypotension should not use this medication.
