Adult dose

Generally, for adults, take 1 packet (single dose) 3 times a day before meals or between meals.

This medication contains lactose, so individuals with a genetic condition that prevents lactose breakdown should not take this. People with high blood pressure or heart or kidney diseases must consult a specialist before taking this medication. If you have swelling in the body, or have previously experienced allergic reactions such as skin rashes or itching due to medication, it is important to consult a specialist. Women who are currently taking other medications, pregnant, or may become pregnant should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Due to insufficient safety confirmation, children and the elderly should be cautious when taking this medication, and especially the elderly may need to adjust their dosage. If symptoms such as swelling of the face or hands and feet or increased blood pressure occur while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. If there is muscle weakness, cramps, or paralysis symptoms, also discontinue use and seek medical advice. If skin rashes or itching occur or symptoms of indigestion appear, you should stop taking the medication and seek advice. If symptoms like coughing, difficulty breathing, or fever appear, this may indicate a lung-related issue, so stop taking it immediately and have it checked. If there are signs of liver dysfunction or jaundice, also discontinue use and consult a specialist. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for about a month, stop taking it and consult a doctor. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and frequency, and in case of long-term use, consult a specialist to regularly check blood pressure and potassium levels. Particularly, be careful when taking it with licorice or diuretics as the risk of side effects may increase. When taking with other herbal medicines, confirm that there are no overlapping ingredients. When storing, keep it in a sealed container away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children. Transferring medication from its original container to another can risk the quality and misuse, so always store it in the original container.

Serious side effects

Swelling (including severe swelling), difficulty breathing, jaundice, liver dysfunction, interstitial pneumonia (fever, cough, shortness of breath, abnormal lung sounds), decreased urine output due to aldosteronism, myopathy (including limb paralysis)
