This medication is used to alleviate the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease classified as moderate to severe and to improve the patient's cognitive function.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication is taken orally once a day and should be taken at the same time every day. If necessary, it can be administered twice a day. Dosage increase: The maximum daily dose is 20mg, and the dose should be increased by 5mg per week over the first three weeks. First week: 5mg once a day for 7 days. Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to its components or severe impairment of liver and kidney function. Caution is especially needed for patients with epilepsy or a history of seizures, as well as those taking certain NMDA antagonists. Patients with conditions that may increase urinary pH or with recent cardiac conditions should also be administered with care.
