This medication is used to alleviate symptoms of inflammation accompanied by swelling and to reduce swelling that occurs after trauma or surgery.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

As bromelain, take 45-90 mg at a time, three times a day. Take with water 30 minutes before meals.

Children's dosage

As bromelain, take 45-90 mg at a time, three times a day. Take with water 30 minutes before meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with severe blood coagulation disorders, such as hemophiliacs. Additionally, patients with severe liver disease or severe kidney disease, especially those undergoing dialysis, should not take this medication. Patients currently taking anticoagulants or platelet aggregation inhibitors should use caution as there may be an increased risk of bleeding when taking this medication together. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid taking this medication, as its safety has not been established. It is recommended not to use this medication in children under 12 years of age.
