How to take

Adult dose

This medication can be taken regardless of meals but it is recommended to take it at the same time each day. For hypertension: The initial and maintenance dose is recommended as 50 mg of losartan potassium administered orally once daily. If the therapeutic effect is insufficient, the same dose may be divided and taken twice daily or increased to 100 mg once daily if necessary. Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm or even death to the fetus if taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, thus, it should not be taken by pregnant women or women who may become pregnant.
