Vitamin D is an essential nutrient needed by the body during pregnancy, breastfeeding, growth periods, and old age, assisting in the healthy development of bones and teeth. In particular, vitamin D plays a crucial role in preventing bone growth deficiency and diseases such as rickets. Additionally, it supplements calcium deficiency to maintain strong bones and supports normal calcium metabolism. Therefore, the supplementation of vitamin D and calcium is used for maintaining a healthy skeletal structure during growth and old age and for preventing various bone-related diseases.
