It also helps relieve muscle pain and swelling and pain that occurs after trauma. This medication is a topical formulation containing flurbiprofen and is primarily used to relieve pain and inflammation. This medication should not be used by those who have had allergic reactions to flurbiprofen or similar medications. In particular, individuals who have experienced asthma symptoms triggered by aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or have a history of aspirin-induced asthma, should avoid using this medication as it may trigger asthma attacks. Patients with bronchial asthma should use this medication very cautiously as it can induce asthma attacks. During use, skin reactions such as redness, rash, itching, or burning may occur, and if these symptoms appear, usage should be discontinued immediately. Additionally, if early signs of an asthma attack such as shortness of breath, wheezing, or difficulty breathing occur, usage should be stopped immediately and a doctor consulted. This medication helps alleviate symptoms, but it is not a treatment for the underlying cause of the disease. If used on inflamed areas accompanied by skin infections, there may be a risk of worsening the infection, so it should be used in conjunction with antibiotics or antifungals while monitoring the condition closely. When used for chronic conditions such as degenerative arthritis, other treatment methods should also be considered alongside medication, and any occurrence of side effects should be carefully monitored. It is advisable not to use this medication during early and mid-pregnancy unless absolutely necessary, and when used, the dosage should be minimized, and the treatment duration should be kept short. In late pregnancy, it should never be used as it can pose risks to both the fetus and the mother. The safety of this medication has not been sufficiently established for children, so caution is required when used in this population. In elderly patients, skin may be more fragile, so the application site should be carefully monitored and used with caution. This medication should not be applied to damaged skin or mucous membranes, or areas with eczema or rashes, and the sweat should be cleaned before application.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
