Precautions

This medication should not be used in individuals who have had an allergic reaction to any of its components. While taking this medication, serious allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis may occur rarely; therefore, if symptoms appear, the medication should be discontinued immediately, and consultation with healthcare professionals is required. Moreover, white blood cell or platelet counts may decrease, so the patient's condition should be closely monitored, and if any abnormal symptoms occur, medication should be stopped, and appropriate treatment should be sought. Liver function may be affected; if liver function test results change or symptoms such as jaundice appear, the medication should be ceased, and a doctor should be consulted. If skin reactions like urticaria, rash, or itching occur, the medication should be discontinued. This medication may cause neurological symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, or numbness, so caution is necessary when driving or operating machinery. Gastrointestinal symptoms may include dry mouth, constipation, abdominal bloating, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, abdominal pain, belching, or taste changes. If there is a significant increase in liver enzyme levels or if fever or rash occurs, the medication should be stopped immediately, and healthcare professionals should be notified. Periodic blood tests may be necessary since there may be changes in platelet or white blood cell counts. Additionally, other rare symptoms such as breast pain, gynecomastia, palpitations, fever, facial flushing, tongue numbness, coughing, difficulty breathing, hair loss, menstrual irregularities, and edema may occur. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medication if the benefits are deemed greater than the risks, and breastfeeding is not recommended as the drug may be transmitted through breast milk. Safety has not been sufficiently established in children, especially those who are low birth weight, newborns, infants, and young children. Elderly individuals should exercise increased caution regarding gastrointestinal symptoms and other side effects due to possible declines in physical function. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children, and care should be taken to avoid transferring it to another container, as this can pose a risk of accidents and negatively impact the quality of the medication.
