How to take
Adult dose
Adults (15 years and older but under 80 years): Take 2 tablets at a time. If necessary, take 2 tablets every 4 hours up to 3 times a day. However, do not exceed 3 times a day (6 tablets).
Precautions
This medication is not recommended for patients with impaired renal or hepatic function, blood disorders, gastrointestinal diseases, asthma, rheumatism, and other immune-related diseases. Patients who are undergoing dialysis treatment or have a history of low blood cell counts, as well as those allergic to histamine H2-receptor antagonists, should also avoid taking this medication. Children under 15 years old and seniors over 80 years old have not had their safety adequately established, and in seniors, the medication may accumulate in the body due to decreased renal function, leading to side effects. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should be cautious as the safety of this medication has not been established, and the drug may be passed to breast milk. Patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders should not take this medication due to the lactose contained in it. It is advisable not to take other gastrointestinal medications while on this medication, as it may lead to stronger than expected effects or unexpected side effects. Additionally, this medication may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or confusion, so driving or operating machinery should be avoided. Taking it with alcohol could raise blood alcohol levels and pose a risk. If you are taking other medications or receiving treatment from a physician, you must consult with an expert, as drug interactions may cause side effects or alter efficacy. Particular caution is required when taken in conjunction with certain antibiotics, anticancer drugs, and steroids, and individuals with a history of drug allergies should seek advice before taking it. Interactions
Drug interactions
