View approved original text

This medication is used when blood supply to the heart muscle is insufficient due to hypertension or narrowing of coronary arteries or vascular spasms. It helps reduce the burden on the heart by controlling hypertension and alleviates symptoms of myocardial ischemia caused by stable angina and variant angina. It dilates blood vessels, facilitating blood flow to the heart and improving heart health, thus alleviating heart pain and related symptoms and enhancing overall cardiovascular function. Therefore, this medication is effectively used for treating hypertension and myocardial ischemia.

As Amlodipine, take 5 mg once a day orally, and if symptoms do not improve within 2 to 4 weeks, the dose may be increased up to a maximum of 10 mg per day based on the patient's response. Adjust dosage as appropriate based on symptoms.
