View approved original text

This medication helps improve symptoms caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia. It reduces the size of the enlarged prostate, facilitating smoother urine flow and decreasing the frequency of acute urinary retention. Additionally, it prevents the exacerbation of these symptoms and reduces the necessity for invasive surgeries such as transurethral resection of the prostate or prostatectomy. Therefore, it is effectively used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.
