How to take
Adult dose
For individuals aged 8 years and older and adults: take 2 tablets once daily or 1 tablet twice daily.
Precautions
This medication should be used with caution as administering over 5,000 IU of Vitamin A to women during the first 3 months of pregnancy or to women who may become pregnant may pose a risk of congenital deformities to the fetus. If a child, especially a child under six years of age, accidentally overdoses, there is a risk of iron poisoning, which may be life-threatening, so it should be stored out of reach of children. Individuals with certain conditions, such as hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, renal disease, hyperkalemia, Wilson's disease, hemochromatosis, kidney stones, or severe renal failure should not take this medication. Also, individuals with allergies to this medication or infants under 12 months should not take it. This medication should not be taken with interacting drugs such as phosphates, calcium salts, certain antibiotics, antacids, or levodopa. Infants under 12 months, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and individuals with certain gastrointestinal diseases or diseases of the heart, kidneys, or liver should always consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. If any unusual symptoms such as vomiting, skin rash, abdominal pain, low blood pressure, or difficulty breathing occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Long-term high-dose use may cause side effects such as nerve damage, gastrointestinal issues, blood abnormalities, and increased risk of osteoporosis, so the prescribed dosage must be strictly followed. When administering to children, supervision by a guardian is necessary, and the intake of Vitamin A present in this medication is usually sufficient from meals, so care should be taken not to exceed an additional intake of 5,000 IU. It is advisable to avoid tannin-containing beverages such as green tea or black tea during use as urine color may change, which should be noted in clinical tests. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and not transferred to other containers.
