Musculoskeletal pain or skin rashes may arise during treatment, so if symptoms are severe, consult healthcare professionals. Long-term use may increase the risk of low-energy bone fractures, so regular testing is necessary. When taking this medication with other drugs, absorption may be hindered, so calcium supplements or antacids should be taken at least 30 minutes after this medication. It is safest for pregnant or breastfeeding women not to take this drug, and safety in children or adolescents under 18 has not been established.
