This medication is used for major joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, and periarthritis of the scapulohumeral joint. It is also helpful for relieving various pains such as dental pain, inflammation occurring after trauma, low back pain, and sciatica. It is used broadly in the treatment of pain caused by non-articular rheumatism. It acts effectively on these diseases and symptoms to relieve pain and help improve the quality of life.
As aceclofenac, take 100 mg every 12 hours, twice a day. This medication should be taken whole and not chewed or crushed. Adjust the dosage as appropriate according to symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
This medication may cause gastrointestinal bleeding if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily, so consultation with a physician or pharmacist is essential. This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events, thus patients with risk factors such as heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes should be administered cautiously and for the shortest duration at the lowest effective dose. There is a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation, so special caution is required in elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal disorders, and they should consult a medical professional immediately if symptoms occur. Patients with active peptic ulcers or bleeding, or those who are hypersensitive to this drug or similar class medications should not take this medication. Patients with impaired kidney or liver function, heart failure, pregnant women in the third trimester, nursing mothers, and those with coagulopathy should either avoid using this medication or use it cautiously. Adverse effects such as gastrointestinal disturbances, dizziness, liver function abnormalities, and skin rashes may occur, so any unusual symptoms should be reported to a medical professional immediately. It is necessary to conduct regular tests and monitoring of blood pressure, liver function, and kidney function while taking this medication. Interactions with other medications may occur, so patients currently taking anticoagulants, diuretics, antidiabetic medications, lithium, or methotrexate should definitely consult a physician. Women in early to mid-pregnancy should be administered with caution, and this medication should not be taken in the later stages of pregnancy. Nursing mothers should either discontinue breastfeeding or stop taking this medication. The safety and efficacy of this drug in children and adolescents have not been established. Elderly patients are at higher risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and perforation, so special care should be taken when they are prescribed this medication. In case of an overdose, symptoms such as gastrointestinal irritation, hypotension, respiratory depression, and seizures may occur, requiring immediate medical treatment.
