Improvement of chronic hepatitis (increased ALT)
Chronic hepatitis with persistently elevated ALT levels refers to a condition in which inflammation of the liver lasts for an extended period. This medication helps improve liver function and alleviates inflammation, aiding in the recovery of liver health. It is mainly used to reduce liver damage and normalize liver function in patients with chronic hepatitis.

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to this medication or its components. This medication contains lactose, so patients with a genetic condition that prevents the digestion of lactose should not take it. Patients with liver diseases such as chronic hepatitis or cirrhosis should use this medication with caution. Taking this medication may result in side effects such as dry mouth, nausea, and skin rash; these symptoms may be alleviated by taking allergy medications. Transient jaundice may occur, but stopping the medication or using jaundice treatment medications can improve the symptoms. Nausea or abdominal bloating may occur infrequently, but they often resolve quickly. Taking this medication along with another drug, Inosine, may improve liver function tests.
