This medication is used for rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, and other common forms of arthritis and inflammation around the joints. It also helps relieve pain from dental pain or inflammation that occurs after trauma, as well as muscle pain and sciatica. It is effective for pain relief due to non-articular rheumatism. In summary, this medication is used to treat various arthritic and inflammatory pain symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

As Aceclofenac, take 100 mg every 12 hours for a total of 2 doses per day. Do not chew or crush the tablets; take them whole. Adjust dosage appropriately according to symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible.

Precautions

Patients who regularly consume more than three drinks a day may experience serious side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding, and should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. As a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), it may increase the risk of cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases; therefore, patients with risk factors such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, or smoking should administer it with caution. Moreover, this medication can cause serious side effects such as ulcers, bleeding, or perforations in the stomach, and caution is especially needed for elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases.
