People with allergies or hypersensitivity to this medication or any of its ingredients should not take it. Infants under 12 months old, those with diseases causing iron accumulation due to iron metabolism disorders, and patients with anemia not due to iron deficiency should also avoid this medication. Individuals allergic to soybean oil, beans, or peanuts should avoid this medication. During treatment, it is advisable not to take this medication with phosphates, calcium salts, certain antibiotics or antacids, and medications like levodopa. Infants under 1 year old, current patients under treatment, individuals with diseases that cause excessive oxalate excretion in urine, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, nursing mothers, premature infants, and children should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Additionally, those with peptic ulcers or chronic colitis, heart or kidney function issues, protein deficiency, gout or kidney stones, or issues with lipid metabolism should consult an expert. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, itching, photosensitivity, abdominal pain, cramps, fever, or coma occur, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Long-term high-dose use may lead to tolerance, and certain vitamin intakes may cause neurological disorders or blood abnormalities. High-dose use may worsen peptic ulcers, lead to blood sugar control issues, increase uric acid, or cause liver damage, so caution is advised. Overdosage may cause nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, heart failure, and swelling; caution is necessary when taken with certain diuretics due to the risk of hyperkalemia. Consult a healthcare professional if there is no symptom improvement after about a month of taking the medication. It is essential to adhere to the prescribed method and dose, and when giving it to children, supervision by a guardian is necessary. During treatment, blood glucose test results may be affected, and it is advisable to avoid tannin-rich teas such as green tea or black tea before and after taking this medication. Patients at risk for lipid overload should monitor blood lipid levels and adjust the dosage of this medication, especially if taking other lipid agents, considering the lipid contents of those products.
