This medicine is used to prevent and treat pantothenic acid deficiency. It also helps to supplement pantothenic acid during conditions that may cause deficiency such as hyperthyroidism, pregnancy, and lactation. It is effective for various skin disorders suspected of pantothenic acid deficiency or metabolic abnormalities, as well as postoperative bowel dysfunction. Particularly, it is used to prevent and treat side effects that may occur from the use of streptomycin or kanamycin. Thus, this medicine improves symptoms related to pantothenic acid deficiency and metabolic disorders.

How it is given

Adult administration

As D-Panthenol, 20-100 mg is administered intramuscularly or intravenously once daily 1-2 times. Precautions
