This medication is used to improve ischemic symptoms such as ulcers, pain, and cold sensation caused by chronic arterial occlusive disease. It also has the effect of preventing recurrence after cerebral infarction, excluding cardiogenic cerebral embolism. Therefore, it helps improve blood circulation and enhance vascular health.

How to take

Adult dose

As cilostazol, the usual oral dosage for adults is 100mg, taken twice a day. Dosage may be adjusted according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication may increase heart rate and may induce symptoms of angina, so angina symptoms such as chest pain should be observed carefully. Patients at higher risk of bleeding or those who have recently experienced hemorrhagic stroke, peptic ulcer, or surgery should not use this medication. It is advisable not to administer this medication to patients with congestive heart failure as symptoms may worsen. Patients with allergies to this medication or its ingredients, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, and nursing mothers should not take this medication.
