How to apply

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, or viral skin infections as it may worsen the symptoms. Patients with allergies to this medication or its components or those with a history of hypersensitivity should not use this medication. Caution should be exercised in patients with eczematous otitis externa who have a perforated eardrum, as wound healing may be delayed. It is advisable not to use this medication on patients with skin ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite due to the possibility of delayed skin regeneration. This medication should not be used in patients with scalp infections, perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea. It is also safe to avoid use in patients with anal or genital itching. Use in infants under 24 months is not recommended. Caution is advised when using in pregnant or potentially pregnant women, nursing mothers, children, elderly individuals, those with liver dysfunction, or patients with diabetes. The use of this medication may lead to skin infections, and treatment should be initiated or the medication discontinued immediately if signs of infection appear. Long-term or widespread use may lead to various skin side effects such as skin atrophy, rash, itching, and skin dryness. Prolonged use of this medication may lead to systemic side effects such as hormonal imbalance, adrenal suppression, and hyperglycemia, thus caution is required. When used around the eyes, there is a risk of increased intraocular pressure, glaucoma, cataracts, and other eye diseases, so care must be taken to avoid direct contact with the eyes. This medication should generally not be used for eczema or dermatitis associated with skin infections, and if used inevitably, it should be combined with appropriate antibacterial or antifungal agents. Systemic absorption of topical corticosteroids may lead to hormonal function suppression; therefore, regular monitoring is necessary when used in extensive or occlusive bandage therapy. Once symptoms improve, use should be discontinued as soon as possible, and if symptoms worsen, it should be stopped immediately. When using on the face, neck, genitals, or overlapping skin areas, there is a higher risk of side effects such as skin atrophy or erythema, so careful consideration should be made before use. For psoriasis patients, there is a risk of recurrence, tolerance, and systemic toxicity, so careful monitoring is required. Use during pregnancy may affect the fetus, thus it should be used for the shortest duration and smallest area possible; caution is also required during breastfeeding. Children have a higher risk of side effects due to better absorption of the medication compared to adults, so long-term use should be avoided, and conditions should be assessed weekly during use. Elderly individuals may also exhibit side effects more readily, so careful monitoring is necessary with large or long-term use. In cases of overdose, symptoms of hormone excess may appear, and reduction or discontinuation must be carried out as directed by a physician. Care must be taken to avoid contact with the eyes, and it is advisable not to use it for cosmetic purposes or after shaving. Occlusive bandage therapy should only be used under medical supervision, and the treatment area must be kept clean. Ensure that the treatment area does not exceed 20% of the body surface area, and it is important to wash hands thoroughly after use. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children and in its original container to prevent degradation and misuse.
