Precautions

This medication contains a steroid component that calms inflammation in the skin. This medication should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections as it may worsen the symptoms. If there has been an allergic reaction to this medication or its components, it should not be administered. Caution is required in patients with perforation of the eardrum as healing may be delayed when treating dermatitis. It is best not to use it on areas with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite as skin regeneration may be hindered. It is safer not to use this medication for perioral dermatitis, common acne, rosacea, or non-inflammatory itching. Pregnant or potentially pregnant women, as well as breastfeeding mothers, should consult a doctor before using this medication and restrict the dosage and duration to the minimum necessary if needed. Particularly, children under 2 years of age and the elderly should use this medication with caution and follow a doctor's instructions. As skin infections may occur when using this medication, if symptoms of infection appear, use should be stopped immediately and proper treatment should be sought. Using this medication for a long time or over large areas may suppress the body's steroid hormone function, so regular examinations are important. If symptoms do not improve or worsen while using, cease use immediately and consult a doctor. The treatment period is generally limited to no more than 7 days, and it is advisable to stop as soon as possible. This medication should not be used near the eyes as it may cause increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma. There have been no reports of affecting driving or operating machinery, but monitoring one's physical condition during use is advisable. This medication may irritate the skin or eyes and mucous membranes, so caution is required during use. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should only use it when absolutely necessary, considering its effects on the fetus or infant, especially avoiding application to the breast area during breastfeeding. Children and the elderly may have weaker skin and may absorb the drug more effectively, so prolonged use should be avoided, and strict adherence to a doctor's instructions is required if needed. Overuse may lead to symptoms of steroid excess, so it should be used under medical supervision. This medication is not for ophthalmic use and should be avoided on the skin after makeup or shaving. Using occlusive dressings may increase the risk of infection, so it should be used only under a doctor's supervision, and the treatment area should be kept clean. Keep out of reach of children to prevent accidental poisoning.
