This medication is used for inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis), and periarthritis of the scapulohumeral joint. It also helps relieve pain due to dental pain, post-traumatic inflammation, low back pain, sciatica, and non-articular rheumatism. It is effective for various joint and musculoskeletal diseases, helping to alleviate pain and improve functionality in patients.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 100 mg of aceclofenac every 12 hours, twice a day. This medication should be taken whole, not chewed or crushed. Adjust intake as appropriate based on symptoms. It should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Precautions

This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist before taking if regularly consuming more than three alcoholic drinks daily due to the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. It may increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases; therefore, patients with risk factors such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, and smoking should use it cautiously. It is advisable to use the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration, and symptoms and treatment responses should be monitored regularly during use. This medication can cause serious gastrointestinal side effects such as gastric bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, so elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases should be particularly cautious.
