Precautions

This medication should not be taken by children under 8 years of age, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, and nursing mothers. The rhubarb component in this medication may cause uterine contractions, increasing the risk of premature birth, and can lead to diarrhea in infants through breast milk. Additionally, individuals with lactose intolerance or certain genetic disorders should not take this medication. In these cases, the components of the drug may not be properly digested in the body, causing side effects. Before taking, individuals who have experienced allergic reactions or have conditions such as glaucoma or urination difficulties must consult a doctor or pharmacist. Caution is also necessary for those taking other medications or who are allergic to specific dyes contained in this drug. Individuals with diarrhea, loose stools, or gastrointestinal disturbances should consult a professional as these symptoms may worsen with this medication, and those who are frail or weak are at higher risk of side effects, requiring extra caution. If symptoms such as loss of appetite, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. This medication has a laxative effect, so it is essential to follow the prescribed dosage and administration. Long-term use may lead to tolerance or worsening of constipation, so it should not be used for more than one week. Additionally, when taking other herbal preparations, avoid duplication of the rhubarb component. Side effects may include skin rash, redness, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, discomfort in the stomach, diarrhea, loose stools, drowsiness, and severe abdominal pain (if diarrhea is present), so discontinue use if these symptoms occur and consult a doctor. If severe diarrhea or abdominal pain occurs, stop taking it immediately. This medication contains strong ingredients, so it is crucial to follow the prescribed usage, as drowsiness may occur when driving or operating machinery. If symptoms do not improve after a few days of taking the medication, consult a professional, and it is advisable to avoid long-term continued use. Do not take with other laxatives, allergy medications, or drugs containing antihistamines (such as motion sickness medications, cold medications, and cough suppressants) and store out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place. Keep the medication in its original container to prevent misuse.
