During the course of treatment, if symptoms such as skin rash, itching, decreased tear production, visual disturbances, irregular heartbeat, dizziness, fatigue, indigestion, or respiratory difficulties occur, you should inform a doctor immediately. Regular monitoring of heart function, blood pressure, and blood tests is required with long-term use, and discontinuing the medication abruptly may worsen heart symptoms, so the dosage should be decreased gradually under medical supervision. Patients scheduled for surgery should stop taking this medication 24 hours prior to the procedure, and caution should be exercised when driving or operating dangerous machinery during the initial phase of treatment. This medication may interact with other drugs; therefore, if you are taking any other medications, you must inform your doctor, especially when used with antihypertensives, antidiabetics, some heart medications, and anesthetics. Pregnant or nursing women should consult a doctor before using this medication as it may affect the fetus or newborn, and its safety has not been established in pediatric patients. Elderly patients should start with a low dose and be closely monitored. In case of overdose, severe bradycardia, hypotension, or respiratory difficulties may occur, and immediate medical attention is required.
