This medication is used to relieve constipation. It also helps improve appetite loss, abdominal distension, abnormal fermentation in the intestines, and hemorrhoidal symptoms caused by constipation. Therefore, it is used to effectively treat constipation and various uncomfortable symptoms associated with it.

How to take

Adult dose

For adults, take one single dose (3.5g) 2 times a day on an empty stomach (before or between meals). Start with a minimum amount and gradually increase or decrease based on the shape and condition of the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases or intestinal obstruction, as well as children under the age of 3. Additionally, since it contains lactose, patients with lactose intolerance or specific genetic issues should not take this medication. It is advisable to avoid antacids or milk during the use of this medication, and especially when taking this medication with irritant laxatives, it should be spaced at least 1 hour apart. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, and those suffering from severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, are taking other medications, have a history of allergies, or have a history of rectal bleeding or bowel failure should consult a professional before taking this medication.
