Adult dose

Usually, adults take 1 packet (single dose) 3 times a day before meals or in between meals.

This medication should not be taken by neonates, nursing mothers, pregnant women, or women who may become pregnant. This medication contains lactose; therefore, individuals with genetic lactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Patients with hypertension, heart or kidney problems, edema, history of drug-related skin rashes or itching, the elderly, and those currently undergoing other treatments must consult with a specialist before taking this medicine. If symptoms such as facial or limb swelling, increased blood pressure, or headaches occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a specialist. If symptoms such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, rash, skin itching, general fatigue, jaundice in the skin or eyes, fever, cough, or difficulty breathing occur, stop taking the medication and inform a specialist immediately. If symptoms do not improve after about one month of use, consulting a specialist is necessary. This medication is best not taken for extended periods; if long-term use is unavoidable, consult a specialist. You must adhere to the prescribed usage and dosage, and be cautious when taking potassium-containing preparations, licorice, glycyrrhizin, or specific diuretics, as hypokalemia or muscle issues may arise. When taking other herbal medicines or supplements, be mindful of overlapping ingredients. When storing, avoid direct sunlight and keep in a cool place with low humidity, out of reach of children. Removing the medication from its original container and storing it in another container can degrade quality or pose a risk of misuse, so it should always be stored in the original container and tightly closed.

Serious side effects

• Decreased urine output, severe swelling of the face and limbs (edema)
• Increased blood pressure, headache
• Jaundice in the skin or eyes
• General fatigue due to liver dysfunction
• Respiratory problems such as fever, cough, shortness of breath

Mild side effects

• Skin symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, hives
• Neuromuscular symptoms such as weakness, limb cramps, paralysis
• Gastritis, hangover, burping, heartburn
• Symptoms related to hypokalemia

This medication should be stored in a sealed container to prevent air or moisture from entering, and it is safe to store at room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius. Proper storage can maintain the effectiveness of the medication for a longer time.
