Precautions

This medication may cause an increase in heart rate and can manifest symptoms of angina, so it is important to carefully check for angina symptoms such as chest pain. This medication should not be used in patients at high risk of bleeding, such as those with hemophilia or those who have recently experienced a hemorrhagic stroke. Patients with congestive heart failure may experience worsening symptoms while taking this medication, so administration should be avoided. Patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication or any of its components should not use it; women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should also refrain from taking this medication. Patients currently taking anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, thrombolytic agents, etc., should be cautious when administering this medication due to an increased risk of bleeding. Women during menstruation may also have an increased risk of bleeding and should be careful. Patients with severe renal failure or liver failure may have difficulty in metabolizing and excreting this medication, potentially leading to increased blood concentration, so caution is needed. Patients with diabetes may be more susceptible to bleeding-related side effects, so they should be careful. Patients with hypertension that is poorly controlled or patients with arrhythmias should also be administered this medication cautiously. During the use of this medication, if symptoms of bleeding or abnormal blood signs occur, it is essential to inform medical staff immediately. Dizziness may occur, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. Since this medication is metabolized in the liver, taking it with other drugs that inhibit or affect liver metabolic enzymes may increase blood concentration and the risk of side effects. Particularly, caution should be taken to avoid taking it with grapefruit juice. Women who are pregnant or nursing should not take this medication; it is recommended to halt nursing during treatment. The safety in children or neonates has not been adequately confirmed, so caution is advised in their use. Elderly patients may have diminished bodily functions and may require dosage adjustments. In case of overdose, symptoms such as headache, diarrhea, low blood pressure, and rapid heart rate may occur, necessitating attention and proper treatment if needed.
