Precautions

This medication is for use on the skin and should not be used on infected skin. Particularly, caution is advised for skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, and animals, as symptoms may worsen in such cases. Individuals with allergies to this drug or its components should not use it. Avoid using it on areas with perforations in the eardrum, ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite. It is also safer for individuals with dermatitis or acne around the mouth or those experiencing itching in the anal or genital areas to refrain from using this medication. It should not be used in infants under 2 years of age. Women who are pregnant, may become pregnant, nursing mothers, children, and the elderly should exercise increased caution when using this medication. There is a possibility of developing skin infections while using this medication, and if an infection occurs, treatment should be sought immediately or use should be discontinued. Various skin reactions such as skin irritation, itching, rashes, and dryness may occur; if symptoms worsen, it is advisable to stop using the medication. Long-term use may lead to side effects such as skin thinning or vascular dilation, so caution is necessary. This medication can be absorbed through the skin and may affect hormone function, so regular monitoring is required, especially during prolonged use on large areas or in conjunction with occlusive dressings. Care should be taken when using it around the eyes, as it may increase intraocular pressure or risk of glaucoma, and if blurred vision or visual disturbances develop, an ophthalmologist should be consulted immediately. It is generally not used for eczema or dermatitis associated with skin infections, but if absolutely necessary, should be used alongside antibacterial or antifungal agents. It is preferable to discontinue use as soon as symptoms improve. Women who are pregnant or nursing should avoid long-term or extensive use of this medication and should consult a doctor if necessary. Children and the elderly may be more sensitive to drug side effects, so careful observation during use is advised. This medication is not for ophthalmic use and should not be used for purposes other than treatment immediately after makeup or shaving. When using occlusive dressings, medical advice must be followed, and the affected area should be cleaned before use to reduce infection risk. Keep out of reach of children to prevent safety accidents.
