Jaycaine Cream (Lidocaine)

Adult dosage

Apply 0.25-0.66 grams (23-62 milligrams of lidocaine) as an ointment 5-15 minutes before intercourse. Dosage and application time may vary by individual, and the minimum effective dose should be used. Do not exceed a maximum of 2 grams (184 milligrams of lidocaine) within 24 hours.

This medication is an amide-type local anesthetic and should not be used by individuals who are allergic to this drug or similar components. It is safer not to apply this medication on areas with wounds or inflammation. It is recommended that pregnant individuals do not use this medication. Patients with liver or kidney diseases need to use this medication with caution. This medication contains a component called propylene glycol, so those who have had allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to this component should use it carefully. If a rash or irritation occurs on the skin during usage, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor if symptoms persist. Prolonged use beyond 3 months without a doctor's instruction should be avoided. This medication is for topical use only and should not be applied to the eyes or nose. Care should be taken not to spray continuously on the same area for more than 3 seconds. It should be kept out of the reach of children and infants in a safe place, avoiding high temperatures above 40 degrees, very cold places, and direct sunlight. After use, do not dispose of this medication by burning; instead, dispose of it properly.
